Wire 09 / The rooms

Three rooms on the metro map. Pick the one you can drive to this week.

Hazelwood, Tesson Ferry, O'Fallon. Addresses, phones, and hours exactly as Missouri Injury Clinic publishes them, plus the daily 12 to 2 closure nobody remembers.

A suburban interstate at night seen from an overpass, red taillight streaks on wet pavement under sodium streetlights, one car stopped on the far shoulder
The loop at night. Three rooms sit around it: north in Hazelwood, south on Tesson Ferry, west in O'Fallon.

Key takeaways

  • Hazelwood (314) 627-1411, Tesson Ferry (314) 530-5480, O'Fallon (636) 280-0990. Hours as published, confirm on the call.
  • Every room closes 12 to 2 daily. Call at 9 or at 2.
  • O'Fallon runs Mon, Tue, Thu 9 to 6 with Wed and Fri by appointment. The other two run Mon to Thu 9 to 6, Fri 9 to 12.
  • Choose the room you will keep showing up to, not the one with the best parking.

Missouri Injury Clinic runs three rooms across the metro: Hazelwood in north county, Tesson Ferry in south county, and West Terra Lane in O'Fallon. Our north-side readers are closest to Hazelwood. Every room closes 12 to 2 daily. Pick the room you can actually drive to this week, because the week is the point.

How to choose

Do not choose the room with the best parking. Choose the one you will show up to on a Thursday at 4:30 after a shift, with a neck that does not want to check the blind spot. If that is Hazelwood because you live in Florissant, it is Hazelwood. If it is Tesson Ferry because you work in Affton, it is Tesson Ferry. If it is O'Fallon because you are in St. Charles County, call on a Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday, or ask about the by-appointment days. The best room is the one that shortens the drive enough that you keep the follow-ups. The first visit is the same at all three.

The 12 to 2 closure

All three rooms close from noon to two every day. The clinic publishes this on its own site. In practice it means a lunch-break call goes to a closed office and a lunch-break walk-in finds a locked door. Call at 9 or at 2. If you are coordinating for someone else, the handoff page covers what to say.

What is the same in every room

The lanes. Missouri Injury Clinic publishes three: auto injuries, meaning diagnosis and a treatment plan after a crash; TBI and concussion rehab after acute injury; and sports injuries with return-to-training care. The first visit in the auto lane is a history, a physical exam, a diagnosis if the findings support one, and a written plan. The clinic is run by Joseph L. Hollingsworth, DC, a chiropractor, whose stated line is putting the CARE back in healthcare. He is not a lawyer and the clinic is not an emergency department.

What this desk does not know

Payment terms, which insurance the rooms accept, wait times, and anything about staffing beyond Dr. Hollingsworth's name. We publish only what the clinic publishes. Ask the clinic directly how a visit is billed and what they accept, and take the answer from them. If a claim is ever part of your story, the dated record from the first exam is what everyone will ask for, and if you already have an attorney, bring their contact so records can be sent where they need to go. You do not need to have decided anything about a claim before you get examined.

Before any room

Chest pain, a sudden severe headache, weakness or numbness on one side, trouble speaking, a loss of bowel or bladder control, or a head injury with vomiting or worsening confusion is an emergency room trip right now, not a call to a clinic. The rooms above are for planned care. If one of them hears an emergency on the phone and sends you to the ER instead, that is the system working.
